Benefits of Elevit

Benefits after baby's born
After baby's born it also makes sense to take Elevit. You may have lost a lot of iron during the birth process and it's important for your health to have adequate nutrition levels after pregnancy. If you're breast feeding, you're also likely to feel like a machine! On average a woman breast feeding will be making 850mL of milk a day! That means you'll need extra calcium to cope with the demand.

Clinically Proven
Many multivitamin pregnancy supplements make claims but Elevit is the only supplement that is based on a formulation clinically proven to reduce the risk of neural tube defects like spina bifida by 92%.1-3 The clinical study to test the effectiveness of Elevit involved over 5,000 women. Elevit works!

Do not take Elevit if you have:

  • Very high levels of vitamin D in your blood.
  • High levels of calcium in your blood or urine.
  • A kidney disease
  • Been told you have a problem with your body's physical and chemical processes.
  • Been told you have problems storing iron.

Nutrition for new mums
Pregnancy and breast feeding are physically demanding and you may be struggling to get the extra nutrients you need in your diet. However it's important to know that nutrients don't just benefit you.
