    Of course! The doctors are here to help you, no matter where you are in your pregnancy journey.

    The general practitioners behind Ask a Doctor are available between the hours of 9am and 5pm AET, Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, they will appear offline. You can still message the doctor and they will receive your message the next business day. Just remember to log back in using the same email address, and check for their reply.

    This service is intended to provide reliable medical information but should not replace a face-to-face consultation. The doctors may recommend over-the-counter medicines at their discretion but cannot issue e-scripts for prescription medication.

    Unfortunately, phone and video call are not currently available. If the doctor cannot help you via the chat, they will recommend that you book an in-person appointment with your local GP.

    It’s possible that the doctor won’t be able to assist you properly via the chat, especially if they think you need tests or medicines which can’t be provided online. In this case, they will recommend that you book an in-person appointment with your local GP. In case of a medical emergency, you will need to visit the nearest hospital or call 000.
